NAIRN SAILING CLUB AT A GLANCE
Nairn Sailing Club is a friendly and informal club based on the harbour front in Nairn. We have a popular cruiser section offering racing and social cruises throughout the year. There is also a small dinghy section. We hold club nights each Friday during the season and host regular social events at our clubhouse.

2025 Season - Commodore’s Welcome
Welcome to our club’s website. As you will see, Nairn Sailing Club has a proud history and a dedicated membership.
If you’re considering joining then please get in touch! We are very keen to welcome new members to the club. We have a good number of cruisers, many of which take part in our schedule of races throughout the season. We also have a small number of dinghy sailors; we would love to see more folks in dinghies out on the water. The club has dinghies that can be used by members for a very modest annual fee, together with safety boats so you don’t even need to buy a boat to go sailing!
If you are completely new to sailing, you could learn a lot from our members. We are not a training organisation, so would point you in the direction of our local training partners, including Findhorn Watersports, Chanonry Sailing Club and Loch Insh Outdoor Centre for you to get some organised training. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
Our club is also known for its social scene; we have a lovely clubhouse overlooking the harbour with a bar, and we have many social events throughout the year.
